Caring for Your Chocolate

How should I store my chocolates?

Keep your chocolates in a cool, dark place, ideally between 17–21 °C, away from sunlight and strong scents.
Avoid storing them in the fridge unless the weather is extremely warm, as moisture and odours can affect their appearance and flavour.

What if it's too hot — can I put my chocolates in the fridge?

Yes — during very hot weather it's fine to place your chocolates in the fridge temporarily, as long as they're wrapped properly.

Here's the best way:

  1. Wrap your chocolates (or the box) in a clean tea towel to cushion against sudden temperature changes.

  2. Seal them inside an airtight container or zip-lock bag to block moisture and odours.

  3. When you're ready to enjoy them, take them out of the fridge but leave them sealed for about 30–60 minutes to let them warm up gently to room temperature. This prevents condensation and keeps the texture smooth and glossy.

This simple trick — a towel and an airtight container — keeps your chocolates safe during hot weather and helps them look and taste just as they should.

What's the best way to enjoy my chocolates?

They say chocolate tastes best at room temperature, when the texture softens slightly and the flavours become richer and more aromatic. But we're all different, so eat it however and whenever you like. We don't judge.
